Far as I know, there’s no ESPN the Magazine cover curse. Hell, far as I knew till a couple of minutes ago, there was no ESPN the Magazine — gave it up a while back, after my five-year free subscription finally ran out. But in a few days, three of Your Dallas Cowboys will be staring you down from every convenience-shop and book-store newsstand: Tony Romo, Terrell Owens and Jason Witten, who, I guess, are the new Big Three. Best part of the story, excepted here, is when Owens says of his quarterback: “Tony has ‘it,’ whatever ‘it’ is.” Has no idea he was such a Back to School fan.
