Many things to discuss at the city council’s Trinity River Committee briefing today — like, oh, the Dallas Floodway Extension and precisely how the city’s spent the money from the 1998, 2003 and ’06 bond elections earmarked for projects along the Trinity. But, most likely, the item in which you’re most interested in is the update concerning the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, which city officials announced a few weeks back would be delayed due to a shortage of steel and coin.
