Tré Wilcox, out at Abacus
Uber-cook and Top Chef competitor Tré Wilcox has resigned from Abacus to focus on leveraging his 15-plus fame minutes on a television career, according to a statement issued by Abacus’s publicist moments ago. Wilcox, who’s been with the restaurant since its inception seven years ago, will continue his duties as Abacus’ chef de cuisine through the end of the year, while owner Kent Rathbun regrips Abacus’ executive chef reins.
