So, I just read this over at Dallas Blog:
...A small group of influential women who work across the political spectrum raised money for Ed Oakley at a coffee Tuesday at the home of Lucy Billingsley, where Oakley said his polls show him two points ahead...
And then I read Tom Leppert's most recent financial reports, filed with the City Secretary's Office ... what, yesterday? And whose name was at the very -- and I mean,
very -- top of Leppert's donor list but Lucy Crow Billingsley, who gave the other mayoral wannabe $5,000. So did her hubby Henry. I do believe that's called covering your ass. Me, I do it in $30 Levi's.
