Hannah Storm, so we’ve been told, is available for interviews concerning CBS’s The Early Show making a Dallas pit stop on Friday. And, yeah, we could ask her about her pops, the former American Basketball Association commissioner. Or we could talk to her about her early-career stint in Houston, where she disc-jockeyed at a hard-rawkin’ radio station. Or we could ask her about Albert Belle, surely a fave subject of hers.
Or we could just not bother at all and post verbatim the words of a CBS press release shipped to Unfair Park HQ this afternoon:
Hannah Storm will co-anchor THE EARLY SHOW (6:00-8:00 AM, CST) from Dallas, Texas on Friday, Aug. 3 at AT&T Plaza on Victory Boulevard. R&B sensation Kelly Rowland will perform songs from her album “Ms. Kelly” during an outdoor concert during the broadcast’s “Summer in the City” tour and concert series. THE EARLY SHOW is broadcast weekdays on the CBS Television Network.
Yeah, that’s about right. But how will WFAA-Channel 8 cover the event happening just outside its AT&T Plaza windows? –Robert Wilonsky
