As the U.S. men's hockey team prepared to take the ice before its improbable win over the Soviet Union in the 1980 Winter Olympics, head coach Herb Brooks said a few words. His speech, or, more accurately, a Hollywood writer's imagining of it, was dramatized by Kurt Russell in the 2004 film

Russell did a fine job, but it wasn't until the same words were spoken by Ronald McDonald in an inspirational speech to the Allen Americans, the Dallas Stars' minor-league affiliate, that their true majesty was realized.
