About an hour ago Your Reigning World Champion Dallas Mavericks finally got their visit to the White House, where President Obama was presented with his very own Mavs jersey. Obama welcomed the team, former Mayor Ron Kirk and, of course, "the shy and retiring owner of the Dallas Mavericks," as you can see above. "This is a special group," said the president. "People said Jason Kidd was too old, and I will say this is the first time I've been with some world champions who are my contemporaries." Big laughs. Watch the whole thing here if you missed it.
