One down, three to go as the Old 97’s work their way through a four-night stint at the Sons of Hermann Hall, which is being recorded for some future use. Pete runs down last night’s “informal” opener (so, no ties or tails?) over on DC9, while one Jeb Matulich serves up this oldie but goodie from the week’s ever-changing set list. Maybe I’ll hit Wednesday night’s closer. That, or, on the same night, the Toadies’ first of two return trips to Trees, for which some tickets remain. Which year is this, anyway?
