The Texas Twist and Brisket Sunrise will only be available from Tuesday, May 20, to Sunday, May 25. Both sandwiches will be served on Dan's famous bagels and be stuffed with more than 3 ounces of Hutchins' chopped brisket.
"With this unique collaboration, fans of the slow-smoked recipe my grandfather created nearly 50 years ago can enjoy our brisket with a totally different spin, and we couldn't be more excited to share it with barbecue lovers and bagel lovers alike," said Zack Hutchins, director of operations at The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque.
The Texas Twist features Boar's Head dill pickles, pepper jak cheese and pickles onions.
Dan's Bagels
The Brisket Sunrise embraces the tradition of breakfast and pulls inspiration from Hutchins' famous Texas Twinkies. This sandwich is also on a jalapeño cheddar bagel, but is stuffed with bacon, egg, cheese, a hash brown and the chopped brisket.
"By bringing together the gold standard of barbecue and bagels in Trophy Club, we're proving that this little town packs a big punch when it comes to flavor," said Dan Hilbert, founder of Dan's Bagels, which will soon expand with locations in Fort Worth and Argyle.
Not only will Dan's be serving barbecue bagels, but it'll also be serving red, white, and blue bagels for Memorial Day over the same dates: Tuesday, May 20, to Sunday, May 25.
The festive, American Flag-themed bagel swirls all three colors together in Dan's signature sourdough swirl and can be enjoyed with any of its schmears and fillings.
Even without exciting promotional items, the line out of Dan's is usually long, so get there early for the best picks. Otherwise, the line moves fairly quickly. The collab will run from Tuesday, May 20, to Sunday, May 25, at Dan's Bagels in Trophy Club.
