MasterChef has been a cornerstone of competitive cooking shows since 2010. On the show, amateur and home chefs compete through various challenges to earn the title of "Master Chef," a trophy, and a cash prize of $250,000. This summer, the show is returning for Season 15, featuring a new judge and theme.
Chefs Gordon Ramsay and Joe Bastianich will be joined by Tiffany Derry at the judges' table this summer, who has had her fair share of TV appearances on Top Chef, Bobby's Triple Threat, The Great American Recipe, Worst Cooks in America, Tournament of Champions, Chopped, Bar Rescue and more.
Outside of TV, Chef Derry's accomplishments are a source of pride for Dallas. In 2022, she was a James Beard Award finalist in two categories: Best Chef: Texas and Best New Restaurant for Roots Southern Table. She's the founder of Tiffany Derry Concepts and T2D Concepts, which are behind Roots Southern Table, Roots Chicken Shak, Shef Food + Wine Festival and the Shef Tiffany spice and apparel line.
Most recently, her beloved Italian restaurant Radici opened in Farmers Branch and was a shoo-in for our pick of Best New Restaurant in 2024. Just last week, we reported on her second location for Radici in Grand Prairie. She's cooked in the White House and collaborated on the most recent food menus for business and first-class passengers on American Airlines. Is there anything she can't do? She's unstoppable.
The theme of this season is MasterChef is "Dynamic Duos," which, for the first time ever, pairs home cooks in hopes of becoming America's next Master Chefs.
Some of the show's toughest challenges to date will test the relationships of dating and married couples, mothers and daughters, siblings, best friends, and even divorcees. This season marks the return of the "Pressure Test," an intimidating challenge that tests how well couples execute complex dishes in a tight time frame.

MasterChef: Dynamic Duos will premiere on FOX this summer and will stream on Hulu.
