This Sunday, Aug. 24, Voodoo Doughnuts, which is one of our favorite doughnut shops in Dallas, is letting us double our doughnuts by running a BOGO day. Buy one doughnut, get one for free of equal or lesser value, but that's not all.
This isn't you're average BOGO deal. Sure, you can buy a single doughnut and get one for free, but you can also purchase up to 13 doughnuts and get 13 for free. That sounds like a challenge.
With this deal, you can mix and match over 40 different doughnut flavors, including the fritters, vegan and specialty flavors. Classics like the voodoo doll, bacon maple bar and the Homer are all up for grabs during the promotion.
They're running a breakfast club series right now where every week of August features a new doughnut inspired by a breakfast favorite.
The day of the BOGO deal will be the last day you can get the blueberry muffin, a doughnut dipped in blueberry frosting, then coated in muffin-top-inspired cinnamon sugar cake crumbles and drizzled with sweet Voonilla frosting.
You can only get the deal if you stop by the shop in person. It does not apply to online or special orders. It will make for a busy day for the only Voodoo location in Dallas at 1806 Greenville Ave. They're open from 7 a.m. to midnight.
Voodoo is an iconic doughnut shop that started in Portland, Oregon, back in 2003. They became known for their innovative, yet artisanal doughnuts, like the famous one shaped like a voodoo doll. It's a raised yeast doughnut that's topped with chocolate frosting, filled with raspberry jelly, and has a pretzel stick sticking out of it to resemble a stake.
Voodoo Doughnuts, 1806 Greenville Ave. Sunday - Thursday 7 a.m. - 12 a.m.; Friday and Saturday 7 a.m. to 3 a.m.
