Organizers for KRLD Restaurant Week have announced the haul associated with last year’s event: $695,000, raised for the North Texas Food Bank and the Lena Pope Home. The previous year brought in $605,000, as reported on City of Ate.

Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, Al Biernat’s and III Forks topped the list again, with the most dinners served. For each $35 three-course prix fixe meal purchased during the event, a $7 donation was earmarked for the supporting charities, either the North Texas Food Bank in Greater Dallas or in Tarrant County.

Spokeswoman Colleen Peterson says the $695,000 includes funds donated by event sponsors, in addition to the $7 donations received from each dinner. Sponsorship donations only totaled around $18,000, though. The remaining $677,000 was driven completely by Dallas diners. Way to go eaters.
