Tiffany Derry doesn't slow down. The winner of Top Chef Season 7 and the owner of local favorites, Radici, Roots Southern Table and Roots Chicken Shak has announced the lineup for her second annual Shef Food and Wine Festival.

It's been an especially busy year for Derry, who joined MasterChef as a judge this summer and hosted the Dallas Observer members-only supper club at Radici Wood Fired Grill last month.

This fall, her year continues at The Epic in Grand Prairie, where the second annual Shef Festival will be held from Oct. 24-26. The festival features a who's who of celebrity chefs, again. Last year we went to the inaugural festival, and it was honestly the most amazing food festival we've ever attended. After slowly making one entire loop, noshing on bites from each vendor, we hurriedly made another loop because all of the offerings were simply amazing.

This year's lineup includes two James Beard Award winners, New York City-based Kwame Onwuachi, who is another Top Chef alumnus, and Erick Williams, who was named Best Chef in the Great Lakes Region in 2022. From the reality TV food world, Top Chef competitors Silvia Barban, Tavel Bristol-Joseph, Dawn Burrell and season 22 winner Tristen Epps-Long will also be there, alongside TV personalities Duff Goldman and Michael Voltaggio (whose name can be found on concessions at Live Nation music venues in Dallas).

Those chefs will be scattered throughout a weekend of unique culinary experiences, including a four-course dinner and "restaurant takeover" at Derry's Radici Wood Fired Grill in Grand Prairie. On Saturday, Oct. 25, a variety of wine and whiskey tastings will precede a panel discussion with Erick Williams. Plus, there's a festival-wide pickleball tournament and grand tasting from all the celebrity chefs.

Tickets to the Shef Food and Wine Festival are available online and are sold per individual experience. An all-inclusive $750 "Black Diamond" ticket is also available.
