Are you a chicken finger or chicken strip person? If you're the former, National Chicken Finger Day is set for this Sunday, July 27, which also marks the 16-year anniversary of Raising Cane's Chicken Finger Day. Over the past 15 years, they've given away more than 150,000 chicken fingers.
Unlike most silly food holidays (because this one is totally not silly), National Chicken Finger Day was created by Raising Cane's founder, Todd Graves, in 2010, specifically to coincide with the chain's founding date.
As such, the chicken outpost is making this year's celebration extra special. All day on Sunday, Raising Cane's will add an extra chicken finger to all Box Combo orders. No limit. No catch. The gift will be available for dine-in, drive-thru and on mobile or app orders, with no code or coupon required.
In addition, this year's celebration will also feature a collaboration with Snoop Dogg, who will appear in a number of TV spots and in-store marketing for the chain.
At three North Texas Cane's locations, a modest remodel is in the works that will eventually feature more locally inspired artwork and memorabilia. Look for the new art at the Dallas location on Greenville Avenue, as well as one location in Arlington and another in Fort Worth. At those three locations, the extra finger will only be available in the drive-thru, as those stores are in the middle of the redesigns.
Whether you're a surefire Caniac or just a hungry Dallasite looking for a little extra chicken, Sunday is as good an excuse as ever to stop by a Raising Cane's.
