Abacus, the Mansion and Other Old Standbys on Forbes’ List of Four-Star Dallas Restaurants

In its continuing effort to transition from a respected financial magazine to a full-time generator of mostly half-assed lists, Forbes released yet another list today, this time of America’s four- and five-star restaurants, hotels and spas.

The Frobes Travel Guide bestows no Dallas business with five stars. In fact, there’s only one five-star establishment in all of Texas: Inn at Dos Brisas in Brenham, which I must admit does not look shitty.

Several spots get four stars, including the usual suspects: Abacus, Fearing’s, Stephan Pyles, the French Room, Nana and the Mansion. Read on to see which hotels and spas made the list, and for the rest of the Forbes-approved Texas restaurants.
