Exactly two weeks ago, the city gave Woodard Paint & Body Shop on Ross Avenue till 2010 to git — which prompted my father, a lifelong Dallasite, to note that “our city fathers are suffering from cranial rectitus.” Well, the council member who made the motion to deny Woodard the specific use permit that would have kept the doors open till at least 2012 has finally posted her explanation.
