Angela Hunt doesn’t know “if this meets the cool quotient that is required of Unfair Park posts,” and I will take that as a shot. But, really, we’re all for things like the forthcoming citywide “Trash Attack and Graffiti Wipeout,” set for May 3 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at six different not-hot spots around town. The city council member, of course, is leading the charge: “I’m proud to have helped start up our first citywide clean up effort three years ago,” she writes, “and this year, we’ve expanded it to include trash pick up. Best part, she says: There’s “a great FREE lunch to follow” at Reunion Arena, which apparently is still good for something.
After the jump you’ll find the six locations at which to report, should you feel the need to tidy up Your City on a Saturday morning. (Note to Schutze and Merten: Hunt will be at the Central location. Like you didn’t already know that.) She does ask those interested in the dirty work to register here in advance, as it “will give us an idea of how many volunteers to expect.” –Robert Wilonsky
