KXAS-Channel 5 has blown the lid off Mark Cuban’s proposed multi-use development near Kiest Boulevard and Southerland Avenue — or, as a better point of reference, the Cedarcrest Golf Course. Which is to say: City officials confirm to the NBC affiliate that the so-called Wonderview development is his; the Mavs owner does not say anything. Although: A quick search of City Plan Commission briefings show the thing’s been kicking around City Hall since at least February, and Cuban is listed as Wonderview Properties LLC’s president in last month’s 27-page briefing.

Plan Commission docs show it’ll be 187.7 acres of “office, retail, medium density residential, and outside recreational areas, the latter of which will require a future application for a Specific Use Permit for a commercial amusement (outside) use.” NBC’s owned-and-operated says that’s referring to “the headquarters for his NBA basketball team.”
