Big-name food stars, like most sane travelers, have pretty much steered clear of Dallas this summer: While Houston hosted Anthony Bourdain, and the University of Texas announced an upcoming lecture by Michael Pollan, Dallas has been making do with its homegrown talent and a one-off appearance by Mexican cooking legend Diana Kennedy.
But a recent release suggests culinary celebs are ready to put Dallas back on their promotional tours: Nigella Lawson, who’s hawking her latest cookbook, Nigella Kitchen, has scheduled two local stops in early November.
Lawson, who’s dubbed herself a “domestic goddess,” will join Chi Omega for its annual Christmas Market at the Dallas Convention Center on November 3 and 4.
“I love Dallas and that mood of welcome and abundance,” Lawson enthuses in a release.
