Aside from a few tweets and a Show Announcement post that came before this show was moved from Saturday, April 9, to Thursday, April 7, we kind of glossed over the announcement that Band of Horses would be coming through the region for a stop at the Verizon Theatre as part of its upcoming tour.
Y’know, no local tie, blah, blah, blah.
Well, consider that much changed: Yesterday, on their Facebook page, Band of Horses revealed that this April 7 show would feature Denton’s Midlake as a “special guest” opening act.
And — boom! — just like that, this show, for which $19.99 tickets are still available, suddenly boasts quite the powerful bill.
