I guess maybe I should’ve posted this on Monday morning, as I knew the news then, but for whatever reason, it slipped my mind: Congrats are in order for Airline, who, on Saturday night at Club Dada, beat out Sunward and Hendrick in an audience vote to determine which act gets to perform at March’s RedGorilla Music Festival in Austin. Actually, I think all three are playing the fest anyway, but the win nets Airline a better billing for the showcase.
Whatever. I really only posted about this because I’m a big fan of the doctored press photo above. —Pete Freedman
