At the beginning of the year, BlackBerry manufacturer Research in Motion announced it was moving its HQ to Irving — gonna add about a thousand jobs over the next few years, says here. Of course, that assumes people will still be using their BlackBerrys over the next few years — because a “critical severity outage” like the one every single North American BlackBerry user is experiencing this very moment ain’t gonna do much for business.
