I’m not going to say why*, but I spent good portion of New Year’s Eve randomly listening to LMFAO’s “Shots” on an iPhone as I was driven VERY SOBERLY around town. I’m not proud of it, and I also don’t remember it. Cue Burning Hotels.
The local duo has upped the stakes with its cover of LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem,” a portion of which can be seen in the video. If you want to hear the whole thing, you’ll probably have to get thee to the Granada on Saturday night. They headline a Local Edge-sponsored show with Mon Julien, Air Review and Menkena.
