Let’s get Reatarded in here.

Bad news, folks: Jay Reatard‘s been removed from tonight’s bill at Club Dada.

The Strange Boys and Cheap Time, the opening acts for tonight’s show, will still play–but that’s a big headliner Dada just lost.

So…um…why’s he out?

Well, I just got off the horn with Ben Tapia, co-owner at Club Dada, who has already faced himself one hell of a weekend. According to Tapia, Reatard was far too inebriated to perform.

“He stumbled out of here with these two girls,” Tapia says. “I wouldn’t be surprised if he was passed out on their couches right now.”

Adds Tapia: “His band is pissed.”

So there you go. No Jay Reatard tonight.
