Forget your usual Thursday night happy hour and come hang out with the Observer at the House of Blues (2200 N. Lamar). Last month’s Tweet Up party was so packed that a line formed around the door, so, to make up for the elbow-to-elbow sweaty-line-waiting, we’re throwing the monthly party at a much larger venue this time around. For two hours, House of Blues will serve up drink specials — think 50 cent beers, $1 wells, and $3 long island iced teas — and free appetizers, including spring rolls, wings and spinach dip.
Concert tickets will be raffled, and DJ Joe Vega will spin tunes. The event runs from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Please come thirsty. All that booze isn’t going to drink itself.
