The last stop on the A-Train line will host “Friday Night Bites” this weekend. The event marks the return and expansion of late Friday night service of the DCTA train that runs from the Trinity Mills DART station to Denton six days a week.

Food trucks will gather in the Denton Transit Center while music plays until 10 p.m. Friday. You can go check out some tunes and the new Bombay Chopstix truck that features Indo-Chinese cooking; event organizers are hoping you’ll stick around after too.

On Friday and Saturday night the trains now run till 11:55 p.m., making exploring Denton’s nightlife for Dallasites a little more convenient and safer. (The last train departs at 1:30 a.m. but will only get you to the Old Town Stop.) It’s a long ride at just under two hours, but it’s still better than getting a DWI.

Here are the participating food trucks…

The Pickled Carrot
Gandolfo’s Deli
The Butcher’s Son
Crazy Fish
Cup-Cakin
Rockstar Bakeshop
Bombay Chopstixs
Three Lions Truck
Shitake Swerve
Rock N’ Roll Tacos

The event is 5 p.m.-10 p.m. this Friday, October 26, from at the DCTA Downtown Transit Center.
