Last week, someone posted to the YouTubes the entirety of Elliott Smith’s May 5, 2000, show at Trees; it’s broken up into individual songs, so you can enjoy in small doses. A complete set list’s available here, and seems like most of the show survived the transfer (don’t see “Son of Sam,” though).

Speaking of, I wonder how Hurst’s own Jessica Peters is coming along with her documentary about Smith, who lived in Dallas — with his mother, stepfather and two half-siblings — when he was 5 to 13 years old. From the looks of her site, it’s still way-under-construction. For now, though, how about Figure 8‘s “Everything Means Nothing to Me.” –Robert Wilonsky
