Once-in-a-lifetime events sometimes happen more than once, turns out. Next Tuesday night, when My Morning Jacket performs in its hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, to celebrate the release of their new album, Circuital, they will be joined on stage by one Erykah Badu, just as they so memorably were two years ago when, during their cover of Badu’s “Tyrone” at the Palladium Ballroom, she surprised even the band by joining them on stage.

This time, though, no surprises will take place; it’s happening, for sure — already confirmed and everything, according to this press release we’ve got in our email inbox. And former Saturday Night Live primetime player Rachel Dratch will be there, too, apparently. (Say what? Dunno.)

The show will serve as the kickoff for the band’s tour, which will not stop through Dallas. Super lame. Somewhat fortunately, though, you will be able to stream Tuesday’s show on Vevo. More details, via the press release, after the jump.

Oh, and in other news, Badu will be part of the team performing at the would-be 40th birthday party for Tupac Shakur in Atlanta on June 16. Thug life!
