I swear I’m posting the above video embed from Revlover magazine’s Golden Gods Awards press conference for reasons beyond Vinnie Paul’s epic sideburns (although, between you and me, they’re reason enough). And those reasons have nothing to do, even, with Abbott’s belief that the Golden Gods Awards are “really cool,” as he shares in the above clip.
Rather, this is all just an excuse for me to pass along word that Richie Whitt’s favorite band, Free Reign, the metal act featuring Dallas Cowboys Leonard Davis, Marc Columbo and Cory Procter, is up for one of these awards, under the category of Most Metal Athlete(s).
