While browsing eBay for hyperlocal Christmas suggestions late last night, I came across this two-birds-with-one-stone offeringJohn and Storey Stemmons’ tribute to their father Leslie Allison Stemmons. As you can see, it looks like a Christmas card from the Stemmons Towers, which are clearly under attack from Giant Santa. But contained within is a note from John and Storey explaining that the booklet contains aerial photos of the so-called Trinity Industrial District taken over 21 Decembers, beginning in December 1946. Even more awesome: The locally based seller of said keepsake has posted about a dozen super-sized images from the booklet, for those into those sorts of things.
