And now for some shameless self-promotion.

Our peeps over in marketing gave us the go-ahead to announce our plans for St. Patrick’s Day. You know we love the green day so much that we go and have a parade and then partake in drunken debauchery the rest of the day. Er, wait, we know you partake in such. Yeah. Totally.

Of course, the best part of the parade is the official after party. And headlining the 29th Annual Greenville Avenue St. Patrick’s Day Parade Official After-Party will be Ghostland Observatory. The concert will be held in Energy Square (corner of Greenville and University avenues) on Saturday, March 15, immediately following the parade. Gates open at noon. Just know this is a 21 and up show.

Tickets are available to Dallas Observer readers (hey, that’s you!) through an exclusive pre-sale beginning this today at 10 a.m. for $12. Go here and enter the case-sensitive password – TrashyMoped – to get your tickets now. Tickets go on sale to the general public 10 a.m. Friday, February 8, through Front Gate Tickets. — Rich Lopez
