I’m still trying to pull myself together and deal with this piece of news, but I wanted to say hello, Dallas. I’m finally in you. Still trying to find some tear-away pants — they’re just so drafty in the winter.
Anyway, I’m the new music editor for the Dallas Observer. I spent the last five years as an editor at the Austin Chronicle covering all types of music, though I tended to gravitate towards the under-reported scenes. I’m looking forward to meeting lots of you music nerds/fans/humans in the coming months. Ideas, tips, news, recommendations, introductions, gifts, sacrificial offerings are all welcome.
