…And that date is Saturday, May 26, at Main Street Garden Park. This year’s Homegrown Music and Art Festival rallied the local music community around standouts like Gallery Cat, Astronautalis, Neon Indian, Burning Hotels and more. As local music festivals go, 2012 promises to trump that, especially since organizers have decided to open up the lineup to bands from Texas, not just DFW. Stay tuned.

Aaaaand Parade of Flesh announced a few more acts for Bro Fest 2012, which goes down Sunday, March 18, at Club Dada. In addition to this badass lineup we announced in early December, the cacophonous trinity of All Pigs Must Die, Coliseum and Narrows has joined the roster.
