On Monday afternoon, the Advisory Board of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts is getting the peeps together for a big announcement at the Belo Mansion. First off, in the first major update since construction started on the new Arts Magnet last year, they’re going to tell us about two “major donations.” Then they’re going to announce “the honorary naming of part of the new building after a prominent Dallas public figure.” Any ideas? Suggestions? Perhaps a Norah Jones Starbucks in the cafeteria? –Robert Wilonsky
