Bud Gillett is still at KTVT-Channel 11 — says so right on the station’s Web site, where he’s hailed as the most veteran reporter at CBS 11 News with 33 years in major market television news, the last 26 years working the streets of Dallas/Fort Worth.” But, as Ed Bark reports, that hasn’t stopped Gillett from filing a suit in Dallas County District Court against the Dallas CBS affiliate, in which he alleges “retaliation and reverse discrimination based on his age, sex, race and national origin,” as Uncle Barky writes. The suit apparently stems from Gillett’s being shuffled to the weekend shift, and the station vows to fight the litigation “vigorously.” No, this won’t get awkward at all.
