Yesterday, our Danny Hurley was among the media members granted sneak-peek access the Grapevine Mills LEGOLAND Discovery Center, which officially opens Wednesday. I’m not saying Danny’s influenced by the work of a certain then-6-year-old photographer, but without a doubt the most intriguing items on display are the LEGO’d local landmarks — including Dallas City Hall, Dealey Plaza, the Old Red Courthouse, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, the Fort Worth Stockyards and Southfork Ranch, plenty photos of which follow. Of them all, I’d say the Victory Park recreation is perhaps the most accurate for reasons evident immediately after the jump.
