ESPN’s still-reliable Sunday news magazine spared no expense in producing this heart-wrenching, hi-def look at the journey of Monika Korra, which aired yesterday. (When Tom Rinaldi’s on the case, it’s good to have some tissues handy.)

Korra came from Norway to SMU on a running scholarship, only to be dragged into a van after a party and brutally gang-raped. She’s chosen, uniquely and rather bravely, to have the spotlight shone on her saga, doing interviews with the Morning News and the paper at SMU, where she’s now a senior. But nowhere has it shone more brightly than in the piece that follows.
