According to this story, Dallas is about to be the subject of a half-hour HBO comedy series called 12 Miles of Bad Road, created and exec-produced by Linda Bloodworth-Thomason and Harry Thomason (Designing Women, Evening Shade). The Hollywood Reporter‘s reporting only that it’ll be about “a Dallas matriarchy,” that the pilot episode will be an hour and that it’s scheduled to shoot in the summer–but just where remains a mystery, since HBO ain’t talking specifics about the show just yet. Maybe they’ll film it in Louisiana. –Robert Wilonsky
