In January, SXSW announced that supernova heartthrob/astrophysicist/author/educator Neil deGrasse Tyson is a confirmed keynote interview for this year’s Interactive.
Well Dallas, if you didn’t buy a laminate, get excited. The AT&T Center has announced that Tyson will speak at the Winspear in May.
He’s the author of 10 — count ’em, 10 — books. A frequent presidential adviser for all space-centric topics. He’s hosted two PBS shows, created the popular comedy/science podcast Star Talk, been voted “sexiest astrophysicist” by People Magazine in 2000 and is the only person your mom follows on Twitter.
Then, when the public thought they couldn’t love him any more, Comic Con 2013 announced that NdGT was handed the keys to Sagan’s spaceship of the imagination. Tyson’s reboot of the beloved 1980s Cosmos series will premiere on Fox in 2014 and feature many epic explosions.
