Wax poetic all you want about the beauty to be found in the act of destruction (looking at you, Gallagher) but there’s also something that’s just fun about lighting shit on fire and tearing it up. Rare is the occasion when we’re able to do it with a cheering audience and a DJ providing the soundtrack.
Amsterdam Bar’s “Destroy All Art” party Sunday night was one of these special opportunities, with DJ’s John-Ra, Oddjob AKA Sal and others manning the turntables.
