This morning in Uptown, a couple of Steelers fans — they were wearing ponchos — drank coffee in the ankle-high snow. Store owners raked mounds of white off their walk-ins, and Dallas folks screamed at cars driving slowly on McKinney avenue: “Go home!”
Several hours before this morning’s snowpocalypse, which at this moment feels like the only thing going on, Kid Rock and Duran Duran brought a fiery show to the Verizon Theatre, and The Flaming Lips and Neon Indian lit up the Palladium.
Doesn’t that sound so… warm?
Our photographers Roger Caldwell and Mattie Stafford braved the frost to grab shots, which we’re posting after the jump. Jump on over to our slideshow section to view the full round of the Flaming Lips at the Palladium.
Will you step up to support Dallas Observer this year?
