Street tacos, whether presented with an upscale twist or served fast and fresh, are becoming part of the cuisine code in Dallas. As a proportional response, we asked photographer Sara Kerens a few months ago to do a photographic study on the street tacos in Dallas. We liked the results.

While Jose Maldonado’s been on the Taco Trail, Sara Kerens ventured out to Rusty Taco to test the goods. She came back with photographs. Jump on over to the slideshow–The Street Tacos of Rusty Taco–to catch shots of the grilled fish with red cabbage and chipotle crema, or charred pineapple on Rusty’s own taco, or shredded brisket with cotija–we guarantee you’ll be starving by the time you’re done.
