A couple readers already won a copy of this above gem from Parade of Flesh, promoting tonight’s show at Sons…
What really stands out about it, though, aside from the fall-appropriate coloring, is the consistency of the striped theme throughout. Oozing a slacker cool, the distorted main image of a girl in a striped shirt is re-appropriated in the poster’s background–and then again in the art deco font used throughout. It’s a nice design element at play by the folks who designed it at Subject Matter Studio of California Carolina.
Think you can top it? If you want to see one of your designs–or a poster made for your band’s show, or really, any image you like and think to be deserving of this nod–then go ahead and drop us an email with the image right here. Oh, and be sure to do so at least a week in advance of the show. Thanks!
