Nothing says British punk rock like a tattered Union Jack, right?
Right. And with British punk stalwarts coming to Trees tomorrow night in support of their 23rd full-length release, it’s fitting that such a lasting image would be chosen to represent the band’s appearance–even if, OK, it’s just the most recent lineup of the band. (Seriously: This band has had a lot of members.)
Even the secondary details on this flier scream punk rock–from the ransom-note like lettering to the stamp-like logos applied for the support bands.
Point is, you look at this poster and you immediately know what you’re getting at the show. And, yes indeed, that’s a good thing.
