North Texas will be heavily represented in ESPN the Magazine‘s upcoming Body Issue, according to the Associated Press.

In addition to some athletes you might expect — the Arizona Cardinals’ Larry Fitzgerald, the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Serge Ibaka and the U.S. Women’s National Team’s Megan Rapinoe — the issue’s “Bodies We Want” section, which features nude athletes in tasteful poses, will include, shall we say hulking, Rangers first baseman Prince Fielder.

ESPN’s answer to Sports Illustrated‘s swimsuit issue has been around since 2009 and features actual athletes, sometimes doing activities that are actually related to their sport.

On the magazine’s release, Fielder will become the second Ranger, and second North Texas athlete overall, to appear in the issue. Former Rangers right fielder Nelson Cruz appeared in 2009’s “Bodies We Want.” He also joins center fielder Leonys Martin as Rangers to be seen shirtless by the public this season, albeit in a slightly more dignified manner than his teammate.
