Start stocking up on Guinness now, because it’s going to be pretty hard to find come March.
Flogging Molly and the band’s fans will probably put a pretty good dent in the supply when the L.A. Celtic-influenced punk band comes to the House of Blues Tuesday, February 9. The city’s vendors will have just three weeks to resupply the city before Boston Celt-punk legends Dropkick Murphys perform at the same venue Monday, March 1–a little more than two weeks before St. Patrick’s Day causes the demand for Irish crack to reach critical mass. The Dropkicks must have liked Dallas in March–they played last year on March 8, which gave me an opportunity to speak to singer Al Barr.
Other than that, it’s been a fairly slow week for concert announcements, but we do have a few more listed after the jump.
