Nick and Starr Spangler, giddy-up.

At least, the missive looks legit, which would make this the first e-mail I’ve ever received from a Cowboys Cheerleader not on a legal firm’s letterhead. Anyway, wrote the TCU grad: “How about you write something now — considering the Spangler Siblings have won 4 legs, more than half of the race.”

That’s fair enough, especially coming after last night’s episode of the CBS series, set in Kazakhstan, in which Starr and brother Nick yet again took first. By the way, Starr, did I mention we have a lot in common? –Robert Wilonsky
