Maybe it’s just me, but I’m intrigued by Mississippi vs. Texas Tech.
Tech coach Mike Leach is always a hoot. It’ll be nice to see Red Raiders’ receiver and Carter High School alum Michael Crabtree play his final college game in his own backyard. And Ole Miss quarterback Jevan Snead, who transferred from Texas because of a kid named Colt McCoy, is pretty entertaining himself.
The Cotton Bowl’s going-away party – Jan. 2 at 1 p.m. – isn’t exactly Oklahoma-Florida, but it could’ve been a lot worse.
