$10,000

Just couldn’t hold this till item till 4:20, so sorry. But I’d meant to mention last week that the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (or NORML) was staging its part of the World Wide Marijuana March on May 7 on the Dallas City Hall Plaza. (Say, Brent Brown, where’s that food-dispensing commissary when you really need it?) Those needing a brief video recap can find it here. And … exhale.

Anyway. During the rally, DFW NORML debuted what Opposing View’s “Radical” Russ Belville now considers one of his favorite “new creative projects [intended] to capture the public imagination” — the so-called Truth Enforcement Vehicle, which is actually a former city of Fort Worth law-enforcement vehicle picked up at auction, with the red-and-blues now a mellow shade of green. NORML’s Stash blog has further photos of the sweet ride, including a few featuring a Fort Worth police officer trying to decide if he should impound the car or cue up “Free Ride” and take her for a spin to the Top Notch.
