Bill Burr at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas The redheaded, red-tempered comedian from East Coast is back in Dallas Thursday night for an evening of high-pitched sarcasm, verbal inner dialogue and yelling into the dark. Burr loves his dog, has major problems with women and is, deep down, a nice guy. (Very deep down.) His newest venture, The Monday Morning Podcast, is one of the most downloaded comedy podcasts on iTunes, and his latest comedy CD/DVD, You People Are All the Same, is killer.
Lisa Lampanelli at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas Comedy’s loveable queen of mean is here to shit all over your sense of entitlement and self worth. This is the woman who switched careers from journalism to stand up so she could say the N-word on stage and get paid for it (out of love, of course). In 2011, she released her sixth stand-up CD/DVD, Tough Love, and she’ll be in Dallas this Friday for one night only. This ruler of the roast is an equal-opportunity basher, so you’d better have a thick skin to last all night with Lampanelli.
Aaron Aryanpur at Hyena’s in Dallas The Funniest Comic in Texas of 2012 is coming back to Dallas this Thursday for just one night, and the show’s free. Aryanpur knows what it’ll take to make it through the apocalypse, is a master at giving in to his wife and won’t ever share his veggies with the homeless. Think of his metabolism! Voted as one of Maxim Magazine/Bud Light’s “Real Men of Comedy” and a recent semi-finalist in NBC’s Stand Up for Diversity, Aryanpur is a must-see.

Collin Moulton at Hyena’s in Dallas Nothing good comes through snail mail anymore. It’s ransom notes, anthrax and letters from old stubborn fuckers. Such are the observations of Collin Moulton, whose 30-minute Showtime comedy special, That’s Just Chicken Stupid, was featured as part of the LOL Comedy Festival Series. Moulton talks about racism in Georgia (that’s not humidity you’re feeling, it’s liquid racism), getting pulled over by a stuttering cop (requiring a dash-cam tape change halfway through) and everything in between. He’ll be here Friday and Saturday.
Bob Biggerstaff at Hyena’s in Fort Worth This Houston native got his start at local open mics, where he quickly gained the attention of audiences. Soon after debuting, he won the Funniest Person in Houston Contest. He was a semi-finalist on Last Comic Standing, and was recently on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham and the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show. His self-deprecating, sports-themed material and dead-pan delivery is damn funny. He’ll be here Friday and Saturday.
